2nd Year Finished!

My second year at uni is done! I had 3 deadlines on Friday of my developed portfolio, Jonathan Aston report and my dissertation presentation, stressful week but all handed in on time. I cannot believe my 2nd year is over already! I was also chosen last week to present my presentation to the brand Jonathan Aston, which I believe went really well! Its been such a fun year and now set with my summer project its time to start my third year work! I now can look forward to my long summer :)

I came across this site we♥it about a month ago and since showing my house mates its become a bit of an obsession in the flat.

Weheartit is a website where people can upload an album with their favourite inspiring images. People can then heart the images if they like them. There are thousands of pages of images, with a search tool to find specific images. Here are some of my favourite I have come across:

Cosmetics

My LOVE for Topshop is apparent and their new cosmetics range is something which I am yet to look at properly for myself. However their new makeup range launched this week seems to be a hugeeeee success within most stores. The exciting trend focused makeup collection is to be updated every 3 months and currently has the festival inspiration, perfect for the summer months. The Topshop website allows you to view video tutorials on applying their makeup as well as a virtual makeover which I did quickly try out!

Diet Coke has also launched a nail varnish range. Collaborating with Nails inc, the limited edition range will be inspired by one of the four fashion capitals; London, Paris, New York and Milan. The collection will taste of diet coke! The varnishes will available throughout all Boots stores and given away free when purchasing two bottles of diet coke! I can't wait to find these and try them out!

Summer

Ahhh it seems forever since I was last on here! Uni work has been seen to take over my life at the moment, only 2 more deadlines and 2 weeks of it left before summer!!

Summer so far is looking good, a week at Glastonbury and Bestival and hopefully a holiday somewhere abroad on the cards. EXCITED! A recent trip to Newcastle saw me and some friends visit the beach which tells me its nearly summer. I happen to have purchased a wardrobe full of playsuits recently with the sun and the urge to have a new summery wardrobe and some good festival clothing. Along with a cute daisy dress I bought today :) Now on the hunt for some nice hunter wellies.
