L'Oreal!

I’m now in my final year, and as my final year project I am taking part in L’Oreal Brandstorm. L’Oreal Brandstorm is an international competition where any university students can take part. L’Oreal sets a brief that all teams that then create a 10 page answer to. This years brief involved getting male consumers into L’Oreal salons. Through implementing a service with an associated product range within the L’Oreal Professionnel Homme brand. I am working in a team with my two housemates! When submitting our idea to answering the brief back in January, we open minded to whether we would be one of the ten teams picked in the UK for the finals…. However we were!

We are now working on the implementation side of the brief… answering it as best as we can. We spent a day at L’Oreal’s head office getting to know the department, products and brief. Then on Tuesday we spent a day at a design agency getting our products drawn up professionally. It’s very exciting! However with less than a month left to finish before presenting to L’Oreal on the 3^rd May the hard work begins!

TOKYO

A week after getting back from New York, I took a trip to Tokyo with some of my course friends! After the mad past few weeks of my 21st and New York, I hadn't had a chance to properly research Tokyo... so wasn't quite sure what to expect.

I was quite shocked to see the culture and how different everything is over there. I feel very lucky to be able to visit Tokyo and be back before the disastrous earthquake and tsunami last month.

After a 4hr delay, and these 2 providing me entertainment we were on our way!

We managed to visit Tokyo Tower at dusk, was an aamaaazing time! Seeing the Tokyo sky line turn.

New York

The end of January I turned 21 and to celebrate me and my boyfriend took a trip to New York for 5 days! Was one of my best holidays so far. Although this was my fourth visit to New York, it was one of my favourites. Heres some of my favourite pictures and times from the trip!
