Last Monday I headed to Waterstones to purchase the magazine LOVE, £5, which I had been waiting for. The magazine has eight different covers each with a different model icon on the front representing the ideal beauty in fashion today. Waterstones had five different ones to choose from, I went with Naomi Campbell. I did want Kate Moss but they had sold out of this one. The front covers are amaazing and inside it shows individual photoshoots of the eight different fashion icons, Kate Moss,Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta, Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova, Daria Werbowy, Jeneil Williams and Kristen McMenamy photographed by Mart Alas and Marcus Piggot.
"For this issue of LOVE, we took eight women who are generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in the world, got them to show off their bodies -- widely regarded as the most perfect in the world -- and photographed them all in exactly the same position for the cover. We did this to show how much they differed physically from one another, which is why we also printed their measurements. The point is that 'perfection' is not fixed, timeless or transcendent. It varies, as the measurements of our cover girls show."
Inside the magazine, theres an interview and photoshoot with my favourite Lily Allen, Calvin Klein and hundreds of photoshoots which I just wanted to put all over my bedroom wall but know I can't rip out of this magazine!
